NMFC Updates Effective 4/27/2019

If you are responsible for shipping, handling or organizing the movement of LTL freight, you need to know about the most recent updates from the NMFTA. Please read below to review the changes that will go into effect on April, 27th, 2019.

NMFC Supplement 1 Updates include, but are not limited to:

SUBJECT 1: Mattress Group - Item 79545. New Item Created for Compressed and Rolled Mattresses.
      Sub 1: Less than 7 PCF - Class 175.
      Sub 2: 7 PCF or Greater - Class 100.

SUBJECT 5: Automobile Parts - Bumper Fittings - Item 18415. New Item Created with Three Tier Density Break.
       Sub 1: Less than 6 PCF - Class 250.
       Sub 2: 6PCF but less than 10PCF - Class 125.
       Sub 3: 10PCF or greater - Class 77.5.

SUBJECT 13: Building Materials - Miscellaneous - Item 33570. New Item created.
       Sub 1: Mantels in boxes or crates - Class 200.
